MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — June 9, 2026 — Middletown Public Schools premiered its new Pathways Programs video, produced by Revilla Films, during a public meeting of the Board of Education held at the Auditorium at Beman Middle School. The video highlights several of the district’s innovative educational pathways that are helping students discover their passions, develop valuable skills, and prepare for future success.
The production showcases a diverse range of programs available to students at Middletown High School, including Cheerleading and Dance, Football and Athletics, Marching Band and Performing Arts, Multilingual Learners, the Mural Project and Visual Arts, and the Transition Center and Print Shop.
The video was directed by Luis G. Revilla, who spent several days capturing the stories, experiences, and achievements of students and educators involved in the featured programs.
“I’m especially grateful for the trust Middletown Public Schools placed in my work and for allowing me the opportunity to help tell the story of Middletown High School—particularly the incredible Pathways programs and the impact they’re having on students,” said Luis G. Revilla. “Getting to see how these programs are opening doors, building confidence, and helping students shape a stronger future has been genuinely inspiring.”
The project was developed to provide the community with a closer look at the opportunities available through Middletown High School’s Pathways programs and the positive impact they have on students both inside and outside the classroom.
The premiere was attended by Board of Education members, district leadership, educators, and community members. Following the screening, district officials recognized the collaborative efforts that made the project possible and celebrated the achievements of the students featured throughout the video.
