Middletown, CT — Revilla Films is heartbroken to announce the tragic passing of Paul Pelletier, the dedicated educator behind the Middletown Aerospace Program at Middletown High School; Delilah Van Ness, his bright 15-year-old student; Susan Van Ness, Delilah’s devoted mother; and Captain Frank Rodriguez, a cherished friend of the aerospace program. Our hearts ache for their families, friends, and the entire Middletown community during this incredibly difficult time.
Over the past two years, we had the great privilege of working closely with Paul Pelletier on producing and directing 19 episodes for our video series on drone safety in collaboration with Middletown Public Schools and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Delilah Van Ness, Susan Van Ness, and Captain Frank Rodriguez also participated in several of the episodes, sharing their valuable talent, expertise, and insights. Their dedication and passion for their fields greatly enriched the project and inspired many.
Paul Pelletier’s commitment to teaching and his unwavering support for his students left a lasting impression on everyone at Revilla Films. He was not just an educator; he was a guiding light and a true friend to many. The success of the Middletown Aerospace Program at Middletown High School and this video series is a testament to his dedication, inspiring countless students to reach for the stars in their own pursuits.
We extend our deepest condolences to the families of Paul, Delilah, Sue, and Captain Rodriguez. Their sudden loss is profoundly felt, and our thoughts and prayers are with their loved ones. The videos we created together will be available for free on the FAA's website, ensuring that their legacies continue to inspire and educate future generations.
As we grieve this tremendous loss, we stand in solidarity with the Middletown community, honoring the memories of these exceptional individuals.
